Idaho Released Inmates is privately owned and unaffiliated with any public agency. Neither the site nor its advertising partners is a consumer reporting agency or offers an FCRA-covered service.
Nature of the Site
This is an independent reference resource. It stores no official Idaho custody or court records, cannot confirm a person's location, cannot release anyone, and cannot file a request or legal document for a visitor. Its role is to point toward county release records, IDOC information, Commission material, federal locators, and third-party tools.
A missing jail-roster name, tentative parole date, move to a community reentry center, case disposition, or no-result in BOP or ICE does not by itself prove release to the community. The originating authority must verify the event.
Acceptable Use
Visitors must use the service lawfully and without harming others or the site's operation.
- Do not stalk, threaten, harass, impersonate, or target another person.
- Do not use information for a prohibited eligibility or consumer-reporting decision.
- Do not seek unauthorized access to accounts, servers, forms, or data.
- Do not deploy bots, scrapers, or automated loads without written permission.
- Do not disrupt access, introduce malicious code, or evade safeguards.
- Do not violate any federal, Idaho, tribal, or local law.
No Consumer Reports
This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners on the site's behalf. Information may not be used to decide:
- employment, hiring, discipline, or termination;
- housing, tenancy, or lease eligibility;
- credit, lending, or insurance terms;
- licenses, permits, or government-program eligibility; or
- any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.
Outside Links and Tools
Links may lead to sheriffs, IDOC, the Commission, courts, VINELink, BOP, ICE, county subdomains, legal resources, or independent search providers. A link is not an endorsement. Idaho Released Inmates does not control another site's data, prices, privacy practices, terms, accuracy, availability, or security.
No Warranties
The site and its content are supplied "as is" and "as available." No promise is made that information is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that a partner search will be thorough. Custody data changes quickly, and nothing published here is an official statement from an Idaho sheriff, IDOC, a court, or another agency.
Limits of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site's owners, operators, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access, reliance, a service interruption, an outside link, or use of site content.
Indemnification
A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, misuse, rights violation, or breach of these terms.
Intellectual Property
Unless another owner is identified, original text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Idaho Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without written permission except where law permits.
Changes and Access
These terms may change at any time, and the posted version takes effect when published. Access may be suspended, restricted, or ended without notice when needed to protect the service, enforce these terms, or for any other lawful reason.
Idaho Law
Idaho law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Idaho.
Severability
If a court finds one term invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in force. The affected language will be limited only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
